The RGB color model is an additive system (Red+Green+Blue) in which the three colors are added together to reproduce over 16.7 million colors. RGB is a device-dependent color model.
The CMYK color model (a four color process comprised of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) is a subtractive color model used in color printing. CMYK is a print-dependent color model.
